Term 1:
It was a surprise that I had scored A1 for my science test, as I did not really revise the notes and worksheets. I believe this is just a stroke of luck as I think that the Term 1 tests should be relatively easier than other terms. I will need to study harder and also manage my time well. I do not think that I will score very well for next term's test, as the syllabus will include harder components such as the kinetic theory.
Term 2:
I found out that Science is not as easy as it seems. It turns out that a lot of terms and methods need to be learnt and memorized by heart, such as the separation techniques. I feel worried about this term's Science results, as it is not very good. Also, I had trouble learning the topics in this term as there are more specific terms and explanations, which I just could not seem to remember.
Even though I am disappointed with my grades this term, I am quite happy with this term's Science ACE, which I maxed out with my 6 points. I feel that the Science assignments I did were so much better that the other ACE assignments I have done so far. I intend to continue choosing Science as ACE for next term.
Term 3:
I feel that I am starting to cope better with my Science now. I now have less difficulty understanding the lessons taught. Maybe it is because that I have started to be more attentive and asked my friends more for help. It might be also that the topics were easier. No matter what, I am still happy with my grades this term which has improved. But still, I must not get complacent, but work harder to get a higher mark in the End of Year Exams, as my mark this term can still be improved.
I have still maxed out this term's ACE points for Science, and I am very happy with it. I think I can do Science assignments easily and max my Science ACE , and so I intend to choose Science as ACE next year too.
